Much to their surprise, the demand for such an organization was great, and the group quickly grew. In 1993, a second meeting location was added in Maryland, and interest from around the country may lead to the birth of chapters held together by a national core.
Members gather monthly to hear speakers on topics covering all aspects of business, family, parenting and womanhood; applaud each others triumphs and commiserate over tragedies; and make professional contacts.
But most of all they share the unique, though increasingly less rare, benefits of being a home-based businessmom.
