What is MATCH

Mothers' Access To Careers at Home is an organization for women who are balancing their careers and families by working from home. MATCH provides networking opportunities, supports the entrepreneurial mother and advocates the acceptance of home-based business in the corporate and public arenas.

The yearly dues offer members these valuable benefits:

Free Attendance. Meetings are held monthly in Virginia on the first Monday evening of the month. Guests pay just $5, which will be applied to the dues if they decide to join that night.
Bi-monthly newsletter. Keep up with home-based business issues, find helpful parenting tips, and stay in touch with organizational news with MatchLight.
Member Directory. Your free listing in the MATCH directory puts your name and company description in the hands of over one hundred members, and gives you a resource for networking and referral.

Who joins MATCH

MATCH members represent a broad spectrum of professions, from architects and artists to writers and youth safety specialists. Some women have thriving businesses they have nurtured for years, others are thinking about starting a home-based business and want to get ideas for, and help with, their plans.

Each woman assesses her own level of commitment to her business, with some spending just a few hours a week, and others working full time.

And each has her own way of juggling her work schedule with the comings and goings of her family members: some moms work around their pre-schoolers, others have part-time help, still others work during older children's school hours.

But all MATCH members share a common goal: to stay professionally active while being available to mother their children
